Job Description

We are seeking someone with a strong product governance background to support our client on a six month fixed-term-contract basis.

Job Purpose:

Lead the annual Fair Value Assessments and Product Reviews for all motor finance lending products (PCP, HP, PCH and ad-hoc products), ensuring these meet regulatory expectations and are completed to a high standard within required deadline.

• Update FVA templates with considerations from previous internal audit and compliance reviews.
• Independently assess product performance, customer outcomes, and governance data to identify trends, risks, and issues, building dashboards and using existing MI.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders from brand (product) teams, pricing, and compliance to clarify any product information, and gather necessary data.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Experience working in a governance, regulatory, risk, or technical role within motor finance or lending.
• Strong, practical knowledge of Consumer Duty and PROD4, particularly from a product manufacturer perspective.
• Demonstrable experience preparing and embedding fair value assessments
• Attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills

This is a hybrid role (2 days a week in their Hertfordshire office) and the salary is up to £85k pro rata. We are looking for someone to start asap.
