A new opportunity has become for a Retail Lending Senior Consultant to work for a fast-growing firm that provides personalised advisory support to regulated firms within the financial services industry.

This role involves leading client projects, providing regulatory expertise, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Developing tailored solutions to help clients meet regulatory and operational requirements.
• Leading the creation of client-facing materials, including training sessions, reports, risk assessments, and project plans.
•  Providing subject matter expertise on regulatory and conduct risk issues.
• Supporting business development through thought leadership, participation in industry events, and stakeholder engagement.
• Managing and mentoring consultants and associate resources, ensuring effective project delivery.
• Assisting in recruiting new team members to expand the consultancy's capabilities.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborating across the business on strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

Role Requirements:

• Previous experience in governance, risk and compliance within retail lending
• Strong knowledge of the UK financial services sector and FCA regulatory framework
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach with excellent attention to detail
• Experience leading teams and managing client relationships
• Must be happy to travel into the office when required
